While there are many similarities between these two popular in-home models, the console areas have some pretty distinct differences that can help you to decide which one is the best fit for you. Are you looking for entertainment options and advanced fitness tracking features? The Commercial 2450 provides iFit compatibility, a 7” web-enabled color touchscreen display, and a 15″ TV. The Sole F85 does offer a larger 9″ LCD display screen, but none of those entertainment or tracking features. The Commercial 2450 also offers additional program variety with 40 built-in workouts versus the 7 programs of the F85. Despite these differences, it comes down to your individual workout needs as to which model is “the best.” If you aren’t too concerned about the bells and whistles, the Sole F85 is a powerful and reliable treadmill that is a dependable purchase, but the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 offers all of those bells and whistles and then some, for the same price. The bottom line? These machines are fairly equal when it comes to the motors, overall design, and reliability. The consoles are what makes the difference. Bottom line, assess your needs and wants in a treadmill. Either of these models is a wise investment. Only you can determine which one will suit your fitness goals.
