The Horizon Elite T7 Treadmill (ranking only behind the Horizon Elite T9) is designed for both runners and walkers. It has a 60″ x 20″ exercise surface, advanced cushioning, and a 2.75 CHP drive. The maximum weight capacity is 350 pounds.
Horizon Fitness’ includes Bronze Delivery with this model. This means that they won’t just leave the 227-pound machine outside your door. They’ll bring it in to the first floor. You can pay extra for upstairs delivery and/or assembly, which is worth it if you aren’t a professional mover in your spare time.

- ViaFit Connect: ViaFit is Horizon Fitness’s new web app for data tracking. It connects your treadmill to the Internet and streams your fitness data, helping you to keep track of progress and reach your goals.
- Passport: Passport connects the treadmill to TV screens via wifi. Virtually travel through beautiful settings from around the globe, with your treadmill automatically adjusting the speed and intensity of your workout in sync with the video. Some of the popular Passport video destinations include the French Riviera, the Canadian Rockies, and the canals of Venice. A delightful addition to any workout (note: does not count as a vacation).
- Track Length: The Elite T7 Treadmill track size is ideal for most runners. It measures 60″ long by 20″ wide.
- Variable Response Cushioning: Variable Response Cushioning provides three firmness zones beneath the track, providing a comfortable balance between firmness and impact absorption. This reduces the chance of injury and boosts your efficiency compared to running on asphalt, concrete, or a cheaper treadmill track.
- 42 Programs: This treadmill has workouts for everyone. You can choose from manual mode or 40 programs that target calorie burning, distance, interval, performance, and step goals. You can also create and save two customized programs.
- Display: The Horizon Elite T7 Treadmill displays data on a 8.5″ Extra-wide Blue LCD. The workout data displayed includes time, distance, incline, speed, calories burned, pulse, and laps.
- Incline: Walk uphill indoors on your treadmill. The Elite T7’s track can incline up to 15%, helping you dramatically boost your metabolic rate and gain extra muscle definition. The incline can be adjusted by the user or preset workout programs.

- Low Maintenance: There’s no need to wax this track. The treadmill pretty much takes care of itself.
- Energy Saving: If you stop using this treadmill for 15 minutes, the console will shift into energy-saving mode.
- Warranty: The manufacturer’s warranty provides lifetime frame and motor coverage, a five-year parts coverage and one-year of labor. However, keep in mind that labor might not be available if you live in a “remote” area.

- Customer Service: If you buy the Elite T7, it’s not too likely that you’ll need to deal with Horizon’s customer service. That’s good because they don’t always deserve high consumer rankings.
Our Verdict:
Two words: Highly recommended! The Elite T7 lives up to its name. Yet somehow the machine is still affordable (provided you get the sale price of course). On sale, this product is one of the best treadmill deals on the market. However, when it’s not on sale, the Elite T7 blends into the competition. Monitor Horizon’s sales accordingly.
